STRANGE CASE ·

IN A FLAT

European Removed

To Hospital

The police are still investigating the case of a European named Krikinsky residing at No. 7 Middle Row, ground noor, Kowloon, who

was admitted to the Kowloon Hos- pital yesterday evening suffering from a damaged hand.

The man was at home at about 7 o'clock yesterday evening when some inmates saw him with a-re- volver in his hand. They man- aged to wrench the weapon from him but not before a shot was fired which at first gave rise to the theory of attempted suicide. He immediately became violent and started to smash the furniture in

the room.

When aid arrived the whole room was in a disordered condition with broken articles littering the floor. With the help of the police he was forcibly removed from the house in an ambulance to the Kowloon Hospital where it was stated that

the man is either subject to hallu- cinations or is suffering from an unstable mind.

It is understood that Krikinsky was married recently and is in the employ of the China Light and Power Co, Ltd.

As an instance, if an Eng-. ish article worth. & pound 121 England is suddenly changed in dollar value from $3 to $5," it stands to reason that it is harder to sell that article in the United States.
