Paris, June 6, The Bank of France's gold re- serves have decreased by 4817 millions francs during the period of May 24 to 31 according to the weekly statement issued on Friday. This is the biggest gold logs that has been suffered by the bank since 1926 but its gold hoard is still at the staggering figure of nearly 72 milliards, with gold coverage of currency having, how ever, dropped from 78.32 per cent to 73.35.
