John Boles, as the son of an ultra-blueblooded New York fami ly. Is the object of Miss Dunne's love, but he, too, is the victim of parents who have a penchant for "managing" their children's affairs of the heart. They marry him to a girl of their choice, not his Own. Julla Haydon enacts the difficult role of the selected". wife.

cast, was shown for the first time at the Queen's Theatre on Saturday and it was indeed a graceful tribute to these three, great stars, that despite the many counter-attrac tions, so many people made their way to the Queen's during the week-end,
So far as the picture itself is concerned, I have not seen Joan Crawford give a better indication of what she is really capable of. This glamorous star was at her best and litle wonder too, for she has two of Hollywood's best actors
Gable and Montgomery-playing opposite her. The former plays the role of a devoted lover who reaps his reward in the end and "live happily ever after while "Bob" is more Hikeable than ever in the part of an ardent, but somewhat happy-go-lucky admirer. Charles Butterworth, as Gable's friend, provides the amusement and on the whole "Forsaking All

The film "The Iron Duke has been banned by the Film Board of Dr. Goebbels, Reich, Minister for Propaganda, on the grounds that it does not do justice to the great- ness of General Bluecher, who has been assigned only a minor part in the victory of Waterloo, and this is not in accordance with the German historical view."

The Whitshed was the vessel which, hunted down the gang of, Chinese piratei who captured and looted the Norwegian steamer Prominent and took her to Blas Bay.

crew subsequently earned high praise for their seamanship and courage in rescuing the crew of the United States' gunboat Fulton, which caught fire near Hong Kong.
