Baer Triumphs In Second Round
Chicago, Dec. 29, Max Baer, heart-weight boxing champion of the world and con- queror of Carners, knocked out King Levinsky in the second round of his so-called 4-round title de- fence bout here-to-night :
· There was some confusion when the linols State Commission re- used to regard the contest as any- thing but an; exhibition” bout. ruling that Levinsky would only be unofficially recognised to have first claim to meet Baer. It was, however, officially announced la- ter that neither of the big Com missions passed a ring before the fight.
