Richard Arlon, as Wild Bill Smith, the high-spirited bosa of a one-man medicinu show, gives a moving per formance. Robert Armstrong is the amateur trainer, who is persuaded by Armstrong to add a Bengal tiger to his collection of bob cuts. Sally Filers is his forgiving wife, and Unico Bradley ia the "Other wouisn". And the baby in the cast is Richard Arlen Jr. the cutest infant performer, since the debut of Baby Lelloy, whose antics refect credit on, the acting strain in- heritance of his parents
As Lura Gordon, wife of the cap proprietor, Sally Eilers is disgusted with her husband's behaviour. She has fallen in love with the medicine show unan, and is prepared to run off with him, when she learns that sho is going to have a baby, and decides to stay with her husband. When the .next county fair rolls around, and the medicine man returns, their love has grown stronger, and "Duke" Gordon, increasingly suspicious of Wild Bill attempts to revenge himself on them.
In the thrilling climax of the story, the tiger escapes and corners ber and the baby. Duke" unexpectedly proves his courage and rescues them in one of the most hair-raising finishes the movies have ever show{},
The dramatic tempo is ably main- tained by Director Ralph Murphy to the end. And Rosco Ates and Charley
·Gropewin contribute a pleasing con- trast with their extremely funny characterizations.

In The Cat's Paw," now playing at the King's Theatre, Harold Lloyd is carrying the entire burden of comedy as he had done in the past, bat sur- rounded himself with a great cast, headed by Uns Merkel. Included in the support are such sterling per- formers as George Barbier, who shares a largo portion of the acting honours; Nat Pendleton, Grace Bradley, Alan Dinehart, Grant Mitchell, Fred Warren, Warren Hymer, Farrelle Macdonali, James Dunlann, Edwin Maxwell, Frank Sheridan, Puzzy Kaight and Vince Baructt.
These veteran performers comprise probably the biggast supportingienst to appear in a Harold Lloyd picture.

In bringing the Clarence Budington Kelland story to the screen, Lloyd de- termined that it should fullow na closely as possible the original plot, and, in fulfillment, he picked players whom he felt could admirably carry the spirit of the story.
Miss Merkel was "Lloyd's cloico, as leading lady from the moment he pur chused "The Cut's law," for the part of Petunia Pratt, cigar counter girl, fits the young Southern comedienne like a glove...
Sam Taylor, who directed many of Lloyd's silent successes, returned to the comedian's fold with "The Cat's Paw" for the first talking picture ven- ture with the bespectacled comedian.

The Queen sent a mysterious parcel down to the East-End of London-It-arrived at the Dolls House Olty in Bethnal Green Museum.
When Mr. A. K. Babin, curator of the museum and unofficial Lord Mayor of the Dolls' House City, opened the parcel he found that the Queen had sent a miniatute bazaar stall to be added to the street of little shops where all the dolls in the city do their shopping. Out of the Queen's parcel.came a rosy-cheeked doll dressed in the frills and flounces of 1866, who is In charge of the stall. Spread out before her were beautifully made pincushions, Bre screens, ting books, little dolls for big dolls to buy for their doll children, vases of flowers, and necklaces just big enough to encircle the neck of a
doll.
