No other country can cope so successfully with women's fashion requirements for the next two months as our own. There are nu foreign dress artists who are so thoroughly "au fait” with the intricacies of our country amuse- ments For actugi games and sports England always had ape- cialists, and of late years the sports specialist has added eit and chic to all garments neces- sary to fe in the country.
In the next two months the majority of the exclusive, and now generally well-dressed, so- cial section are up North for the various house parties and north- erh games.
It is the average folk now in- dulging in the many pleasures of the country who can be so well equipped nowadays for sport and" pleasure. In London and at our large country stores we can dis- cover exactly the right tennia shirt, pullovers, and swimming suit. Also we, shall find the per- fect ensemble" that always looks well for the spectator at the out- of-door games, country shows, and early autumn race meetings. It is economical to try to combine one coat that goes with a simple wool house frock, that can also. have a matching, short tailored skirt, and an Angora" or striped alik shift.
