MEETING OF STATESMEN
AT VENICE
Indication That Germany
-
Is Not Isolated
London. June 15.
An article in the London "Times" by the Venice correspondent states that the meeting of Signor Musso- lini and Herr Hitler 1 welcomed as an opportune indication to the world that Germany is in no wise isolated in Europe.
+
Signor Mussolini has never de- viated from the belief that peace in Europe can only be ensured by the action taken in accordance with the fundamental principles i of the Four-Power Pact, while in his view the situation, in the Far East is unnecessarily complicated by the failure of the great Euro- pean Powers to compose their dif- ferences.
