Theodor Daeubler

Berlin, June 14. One of the few living. German poet's of heroic mould, Theodor Daeubler died on Thursday at the health resort, Sanktblasien Black Forest after a long diness at the age of 58. Dacubler who was born in Trieste and stood halfway between German and Italian cultures, was the leader of the German, expressionist move- ment and a writer of great power, but owing to his pronounced my sticism and Intellectuallam had never achieved popularity. His best known work
was the massive poem "das Nordlicht." a religious allegory comprising 30,000 Daeubler who, with his waving grey locks and thick beard presented 2 striking
