New Haven, Conn. Jan. 12. Started as a' jest in the back room of a Bridgeport saloon years ago, the "Suicide Club" closed its Rugby Mid-day Press books to-day with the death, after a long illness, of Charles Kinney, -73, veteran Connecticut
news paperman, the last of the origins: 13 members and one of the three to succumb to natural causes.
Mr. Kinney and a group of fellow writers had gathered, was their customs in a saloon after their night's work. Drinks flowed freely and the conversation fin ally turned to suicide.
