The action of the rail bond market is encouraging technical observers to find fault with the inability of industrials to over- come resistance. We think the position of rails and utilities strong enough to continue their leadership. sēr
Wheat: At the opening this market was firm but promptly reacted on professional operators turning sellers There was rather ample bulling news but a lack of aggressive buying.
Cotton: There was a good demand at the opening but buying was not aggressive. Price fixing was responsible for most of the buying.
Silver: The opening advance attracted some bank selling and long profit-taking. Trading was generally quiet:
