Borderers & Lincolns Play To Draw

The second team of the South Wales Borderer's and the Lincolns played to a one all draw in a hockey match the Chatham Road ground yesterday afternoon. The Borderers opened the scoring with a hard shot by Jones in the middle of the first half and the Lincolns did not retaliate till near the end of the second, when Snables sent in a fast drive from Just inalde the area. Although the Borderers had a slight edge on the play at the opening, the second period belonged to the Lincoln's and it was chiefly the sterling work of Jones 39, for the Welsh- men that saved defeat.
