Parachutist to Drop
Six Miles
A young Englishman is to make a secret, attempt on the world's parachute jump, by leaping into space more than six miles above Salisbury Plain.
He plans to take photographs from all angles during his descent showing the distant map of the earth, the clouds he is about to fall through. and even picture studies of the behaviour of his own parachute. It is believed that these will be the first pictures taken by a parachutist

He is taking every possible pre- caution to train adequately for the cold and lack of air. He la

He is out to beat the record at present held by a woman. Fra Lola Schroter, near Kiel over a year ago, jumped from a height She landed of nearly five miles. in 28 minutes at a point 15 miles away from the aerodrome.
Previous records were held by the Rumanian. Brascu (18,000ft), and the German, Georg Resch, of Wurzburg (15,000ft.).
