Asia Landa, Limited, has received the following report from their New York correspondenta, E. A. Pierce & Co. There was little of cutaide interest on the market and we think it is ignoring the factuation in foreign exchange. There is said to be a continued fight from the Dollar and it looks as though the heaviness of the bond market was more a factor in stock-market sentiment than the President's gold policy.
Wheat: Uncertainty with regard to Washington developments induced liquidation and curtailed buying. Routine news was ine
3 ineffective. Exports were large sue the statistical position is improving,
Cotton: Selling increased after a higher opening, partly on instrue tions from Liverpool sources. There was also some profit-taking and hedge selling. Speculativa demand is less aggressive and Trade buying increas ed on set-backs.
Silver: The market is erratic, options fluctuating 1.50 points. The violent Bactuation reflects the uncertainty surrounding present condtions affecting silver.
Business Done: 1,330,000 shares.
