40 Bonds Asia Landa, Limited, has received the following report from their New York correspondents, E. A. Pierco & Co. The market righted itself today, there being no current development of any importance other than the possibility of a more aggressive attitude by the Administration regarding credit expansion. Without real stimulation no particular or immediate change seems indicated.
Wheat: A very thin market. However, short covering and sobe commission house buying caused a rally.
Cotton: There has been much less hedge selling. Consequently the market was steadier. Near the close a large line of Mays, apparently bought by one interest, caused a higher close. The weather is less favourable.
Silver: A generally featureless market. Within a norrow range some switching is being dena for September...
Business Done: 1,80,000 shares
