Asia Lands, Limited, has received the following report trom their New York correspondents, E. A. Pierce Co. The announcement that the Administration, while still intending to raise prices to a higher level, does not contemplate drastic action at this time, served to off-set some of the rumours afost laat week. However, the belief is still strong that eventually some definite steps of substantial importance are necessary. Thus the deduction seems to be that, while irregularities may appear, the underlying trend seems more up than down. Wheat; The inflation effect of the London Conference has been temporarily exhausted. Foreign statistics are bearish, while Wasbington advices regarding the surplus disturbed holders. Cotton: Quiet but steady, Prices opened down on hedging sales but the Trade then began buying. Silver: The principa) feature was switching. The easiness of the other markets had a sympathetic influence. Banks and speculators sold. Business Done: 2,110,000 shares,
