CIVIL SERVICE AGAIN IN RACE FOR
FIRST LEAGUE HONOURS
The results of the first division lawn bowls matches played on Saturday contained several surprises. To be gin with Craigengower, who, are two points behind the Bowling Green, with a match in hand lost at home to Club de Recreio. Before the match was over at Happy Valley news came through from Taikoo that the Bowling Green had lost their last match, while, later on it was known that Civil Service, visiting Kowloon Docks had ananaged to obtain full points.
The position is now as open. as, ever.
Craigengower
due to meet Civil Service and whoever wins will meet the Bowling Green to decide the Championship for the Syeur.
The Police playing at home, registered a conclusive victory over the Kowloon CC..
