SOME KICKS FROM KOWLOON
Another Motor Bus grouse: "The Streets"
Clean Up Needed at Hunghom: „

[BY OUR SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT]
I have received & few replies to my request for "kicks" on Kow loon and wish to thank the people concerned for going to all the trouble in sending them in.
The first one again concerns the 'buses. It does seem rather hard, on the Kowloon Motor 'Bus Com- pany that so many kicks should be directed against them, especially as run of the thing, but it has been they are only just getting into the said that, "no kicks, no grumbles," hence all the bouquets being hand- ed out, As far as I know, the 'buses to Kowloon Tong and Ho- ! muhtim are not supposed to use Waterloo Road on their way out from these places. Yet, when they go off duty late at nights, the drivers ignore this rule and race merrily along, Waterloo Road (sometimes on second gear, though it is hard to understand why) and whole neighbourhood. It is true make enough noise to wake up the that by taking this route they save a little time, and it is an acknow. ledged fact that some people can not get away from duty quickly adhered to and the sooner the enough, but rules are meant to be drivers are made to realise this, the better it would be for all con- cerned.
Those Touts.

They specialise in service men in uniform but Europeans in civilian clothes also come in for some of their at tention. It is a disgrace that this and we look to the Anti-Vice Squad sort of thing is allowed to go on to do their stuff.
