"Horse Fenther,. latest of the mad, merry comedies of the Four Marx Brothers, opens very shortly at the King's Theatre.

Croucho, Chico, Harpo and Zeppo ars again cast together in A picture that affords them oppor- tunities for the same type of non- sense they presented in "Animal Catchers," "Monkey Business," and The Cocoanuts," their three pre vious movie efforts.

An amusing plot holds the pic- ture together. Groucho is a college president because that's the only way, it seems, hs can get his son, Zeepo, out of college. Zoppo has been there twelve years..

With the co-operation of Chico, village bootleggar, and Harpo,

village dogcatcher, he ultimately ac complished his object. +

Upon this frame is built many a comedy situation. Groucho talks at his usual rapid-fire rate; Chico puns in dialect; Harpo says no- thing and chases every blinda in aight and Zeppo makes love to. the best-looking girls available.

S. J. Perelman, Bart Kalmar and Harry Ruby, well-known humorists, wrote the book, Music and lyrics are by Kalmar and Rubby, and Norman McLeod, in charge of direction of "Monkey Business," directed the now picture.

SYDNEY HOWARDS SKIT ON BUMBLEDOM

SUICIDE WHILE OF

UNSOUND MIND.

London, March 18.-A vordict of suicide while of unsound mind was returned to-day at the inquest on the young German actress, Anay Ahlers, who was the star in "The Dubarry" which is now running at His Majesty's Theatre in London.

The death of the actress was caus- ed from the effects of a fall from a window of her flat, while she was walking in her sleep.

From beginning to end "The Mayer's Nest" is a scream. Sydney Howard has already been identifi ed with laughter-pictures,--He has been seen as a weaver-inventor, a football fao, a sailor and the bibu lous friend of a happy-go-lucky husband. In this new British, and Dominions, picture he graduates from being an itinerant trombone player to the position of Mayor. In the evidence, it was revealed And what a Mayor Bumbledon that death was due to a fall from has not yet produced his equal and, for the credit of all municipali-senca of mind.

The doctory, at the hearing of the evidence, revealed a story of drinks, drugs, ill-health and de- pression.
