A large number of people went cut to Pokfulum on Saturday afternoon to see the Eighteenth Annual Athletic Meeting of Hong Kong University. They were able to witness some fine performances, four records being broken during the afternoon.

Morrison Hall, won the Inter- Hostel Challenge Cup with a total of as points, V. Grunberg scoring ID of their points, which made him runner-up for the Victor Ludorum. St. John's who claim K. J. Choa, the Victor Ludoram, were second, with 38 points, Ricci Hall were third with 37. Eliot Hall (31), Lu gard Hall (21) and May Hall. (5), bringing up the roar,

K. J. Choa, the champion record- ed the treble" by winning three track events the Hop Step and Jump, and the High and Long Junp. He was also second in the Pole Jump.

N. Vargassoff and E. L.. Gosano, secured "doubles," the former win- ning the Discus and Weight events, and the latter the 100 and 226.

R. Symens, who won the Half Mile was beaten caly by inches in the. Quarter. Wu Hung Tak just catch ing him at the tape.

The Inter Hostel Relay Race was won by Rice Hall who were given an excellent start by J. Villarosa which O, I., de Souza, L. Olivera and E. L. Gosano had no difficulty ja maintaining. Morrison and St. John's fought it out well for the second place. Morrison, however, gained the honours and St. John's were third,

S. A. Rumjahn, the temis cham- pion, took second place in the Hall Mile event open to the Colony, and Zimmern, captain of the Craigen- Rower Cricket Club, won the Past Students' race. Miss W. F. Kwok in the Indieg events won the 100 Yards and the Long Jump.

Mrs. R. H. Kotewall kindly con. sented to present the awards after the conclusion of the last event.
