ARTILLERY BEAT CLUB: ATHLETIC HELD BY KOWLOON"
ONLY HALF OF THE MATCHES ARRANGED PLAYED
No fewer than eight of the sixteen matches which were down for decision on Saturday were postponed, and of those that were played, the results were as expected. Probably the only surprise of the day was registered by the Kowloon Juniors when they held the Chinese Athletic, Leagus leaders, to a draw.
In the first division, The Royal Artillery had no difficulty in beating the Club, while the Club de Recreio, after ita sousa- tional win over the Lincoln the previous work, were "severely- trounced by Kowloon.
The heaviest defeat in the Junior Division was suffered by the Eastern who were beaten by the Borderers by eight goals to nil. The game between St. Joseph's and South China in the Third Division had to be abandoned after half an hour's play owing to the large crowd of spectators continually encroaching on the pitch.
