WEEK-END FOOT BALL

FIRST DIVISION

Kowloon v. Recreio

The Club de Recreio after its seisational win over the "Lincolns the previous week was severely trounced by Kowloon" to the "tune of five goals to two at King's Park. From the kick-off, Recreio with a strong wind in their favour at- tacked, and had the ball in their opponents' half for quite a long time before being cleared by Me Kelvio. In the other end. Bick ford, the Kowloon's left winger, | sent in a beautiful centre which was handled by one of the Recreio's defenders. As a result, a penalty was awarded, and McKelvie made no mistake.

The Recreio soon equalised, how. ever, when. Nicholls mis-kicked and Ribeiro rushing in and tapped the ball into the net. Shortly after-

wards, Kowloon regained their lead when Neleme, after a brilliant solo effort, scored with a well. placed shot.

Aftor the interval, the ball was continuously in the Recreio's half, and McKelvie soon put Kowloon further ahead with a nice shot from Immediately thirty yards range. afterwards Webb added their Fourth goal.

A brief attack was then made by! the Recreio and after some nice play by their forwards, Gomes re duced the deficit." Shortly before the end, Nelems added another for Kowloon, thus giving them a 53 victory,

Kowicon-Cook; Nicholls, Wal- kor; Bliss, McKelvie, Wood East man, Webb, Nelems and Wood,
