It may be argued that improved club house accommodation will still further increase congestion but it should be remembered that members staying out usually get away early and thus relieve the crash later Moreover we want to encourage members to play right through the.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
RE
DAIRY FARM
The Dairy Farm beg to announce that there is no truth in rumour that Turkeys are scarce this year at least not so far as they are con- cerned.
They suggest, however, that potential buyers would be well advised to place their orders as early as possible,

The idea of sacred plays is a very old one, but there are two instances of plays performed in modern times, which have made a world-wide impression. The Arst is the Passion Play at Ober-Ammer- gau, which is extremely well-known to all, at any rate by repute. The second is, a silent film, shown some years ago, atled "The King of Kings,"

Many persons have wondered hind wondered when these promises would be fulfilled. Many, many other persons believe, understand, yen know, that these promises are already fulfilled in the health peace, joy, prosperity, and the understand ing of Life which have comer into a result of their experience as Christian Science.
Time is getting on, the Rasolu- tion has been before you for the necessary period and with your per- mission I beg to take it as read. I now propose the Resolution be adopted and after it has been se conded the Meeting will be open to discussion.

FANING
Every Christian Science church is an evidence of the gratitude of hundreds and thousands of men,.. women and children whose lives. have been reconstructed, healed
und
the regenerated through ministrations of Christian Science, Standing in the presence of this simple but stupendous fact of de monstration, the world may here indeed see the realization of the words of the gentle Nazarene Healer, as I have loved you," s love which, in the face of all opposi tion, steadfastly sees the perfect man-God's man-the measure of the stature of the fullness of Obrist,
so clearly that the sense of sin,' sickness and death disappears, bei ing replaced by health, joy, peace,
The first idea of the Committee was to increase the Entranca Fee very considerably, feeling that, this increase was warranted and hop ing that if it was sufficiently large, it would to some extent curtail con- gestion. After discussion, however, it was felt that this course was not altogether satisfactory for two Teasons. First of all, there is no desire to shut out any body eligible who wants to play golf, and second- ly, something rather more definite in the way of restriction to plaj to relieve the congestion at Fank ing was felt to be necessary.
The Proposal.
The proposal now before you covers both these points. In the first place the entrance fee for play- ing members on the waiting list would be 875, and Happy Valley, Deep Water Bay at all times and Fanling Courses, during the week including Saturday, but not Sun- days and holidays, would be open for play. This would mean that the congestion at Fanling on Sun- days and holidays would be reliev ed to the extent that waiting mem- bers are: not eligible to play there on those days. When vacancios arise in the list of full members a further 875 entrance fee is payable by the waiting-members-promoted and they then becomis full-members without any restrictions as to play..
I might mention so far a
ing members are concerned, that it

I may say that existing members of the Club are not in aDY. WAY affected by this resolution, which dosla solely with newly joining members. I mention, this just in Cand there in any misunderstanding of the position. I should also like to say that the resolution is word- ed so as to leave the amount" "of the entrance fees and the "number" of full members to the discretion of the Committee. This is done with the object of faciliating working. It definite entrance fees were laid down it would necessitate special meetings to alter them. Similarly, with regard to the number of full members it is felt that this can safely be left to the discretion
