for the benefit of British hos pitals has been drawn up by the Director Generni of the Casino of the International Sporting Club, Monte Carlo, Well-known British ers, including Sir Charles Higham, Sir John Milbanke and Sir Walter Pancock have accepted an invita- tion to serve on the committee for distributing to British hospitals and charities twenty-five per cent, of the proceeds of the sweeps, of which the first will be on the Grand National. It will not be connected- with sweeps run by the Monaco authorities.
