ACTIVITY CONTINUED
The market continued its activity throughout the week, and in some sections trading was on very brisk zcalo more especially in stocks like Hotels, Cements, China. Lights, Providente, and Rehlties. Cements and Lights "remained more or less round the same figures of $15.00 and 818.25, respectively, but Realties of one time improved to $10.50 cash and $10.75 October, and Providents nt $3.00 cash and $5.05 October. The investment section was active with Electrics bid up to $77 cash, whilst Trams were in strong demand at $22.00.. Telephones jumped to $25.00, and Ferries were wanted at 18601 The sterling section remained more or less nominal throughout the week owing to the very slight fluctuation in exchange, with Banks quoted at $1,010 and Unions at $500.00. The tone. of the market is good, with trading conditions im proving.
