LAST YEAR.
DECREASE IN BOTH IMPORTS AND EXPORTS.
The Statistical Branch of the Imports and Exports Depart ment reports that the total value of merchandise imported into the Colony in the month of July amounted to $44.7 millions as com. pared with $58.0 millions in July of last year, while, exports total. led $33.8 millions as compared with $41.0 millions,
For the first seven months of the year imports totalled #380.1 -millions as comparedTM withTM $428.0 millions in the corresponding périod of last year, and exporta $275.8 millions as compared with $314.3 millions.
