The delegation appointed to receive His Majesty's decision with regard to the new constitution left the Throno Hall for Sukhodaya palace about 3.30 p.m. The delegation returned about seven o'clock, and it was just after nine o'clock when the great news was issued to the world by radio.
It was announced that His Majesty had signed the constitu- tion with slight alternations. The slight alternations had been sgreed upon earlier in the day, some suggested by the King and some by the provisional Government.
