Berlin, Dec. 14.-Authoritative. quarters confirm the Press report |that President von. Hindenburg has declined his nomination na honorary member of the presid ency of the International Civil Air Traffic Conference now sitting at Paria and also attended by à German delegation.

The reasons for the President's refusal to acoopt the honour have I not been revealed but the Press conjectures that it was based on the fact that Gorman civil aviation is stil subject to certain restrictions connected with the Versailles troaty while some papers say that the President was actuated by the fact that he is still listed as a "war criminal" in certain Allied coun trics.
