- Ideal weather conditions favoured the cricketers over the week. end and the principal game of the afternoon-H.K.C.C.'r. I.B.C. -ended in a draw.

At one stage it looked as if the Club would win but the Indians made a marvellous recovery with a ninth-wicket partner- ship which realinod 96 runt. From this stage the Club had to fight, tooth and ma to avert defeat, and eventually the clock robbed the Indians of two valuable points.
