A big crowd followed the pro gress of the game, and at times although there were occasions when very good golf was seen,

the play was increly indifferent..

Owing to the recent rains, the ground was not easy play on. All four players won holes at vari ous times, but the dociding factor was Moe's win at the tenth and eleventh and Ferguson's success at the Bfteenth and sixteenth.
