Playing on the Garrison ground at Sookunpoo, the Athletic defeat- ed the RA.M.C. by the narrow margin of one goal and are now equal in points with the Navy Reserves.

End to end play followed but the Athletic showed the better team work. However. the R.A.M.C. were the first to score. From a long paas by Paterson, Luna trap- ped the ball and sent it into the net well out of Wong Yuen Sing's reach. The Athletic thea set up a bombardment of the R.A.M.C. goal but the defence held out until the interval. Half-time: R.A.M.C. 1, Chinese Athletic "A" 0.

Chinese "B" had no difficulty in disposing of Eastern by three clear goals. It was a tame game with the "B" always superior. The commencement saw tho. "B1⁄4” pressing and da Silva was kept perpetually on the alert, poor shoot- ing being the only reason that the Chinese were not several goals up in the first session. Yang Kwok Wah was the live wire of the "B's" team, kurping his forwards sup plied with plenty of passes. Fui Tin Lum endeavoured to break through on his own but was neatly checked by Lau Ching Yan. The "B" forced a corner but da Silva caught and cleared for East- ern to make a breakaway on the left, and from Lai Ting Choy's centre, Moosa narrowly missed. Again Moosa had bad luck when attempting a difficult angle shot. The Chinese returned to the attack for Fui Tin Lum to open up theit account from Wong Sun's centre. Half-time: Eastern 0, Chinese "B".
1.
On resuming the "B's" kept the pressure up, and da Silva brought off some good saves from the op- posing three inside forwards. Weak shooting was still the "B's" down- fall, all shots with a few exceptions going straight to the goalkeeper. The Chinese next goal came from a penalty kick awarded for hands againat Kwan Wa Lam. Yung Kwok Wa made no mistake from the spot. Eastera were BOW beaten team, and what few efforts they mande lacked vim, vigour and vitality. The "B'" did just what. they wanted to do except score goals. Near the end Yung Kwok Wa ran through, beating all at tempts to frustrate him and scored "a good goal. The final whistle sa the Chinese easy winners by, three goals to nil. Final score: Eastern 0, Chinese "37 3.
