NEW WHALENS AT OSLO.

Oslo. The two newest and most modern whaling ships in the world, regular floating factories equipped to handle thousands of barrels of oil, have arrived in Oslo-in pre- paration for the whaling reason. The Kosmos, first of the new, ves- eel, is not only the largest ship of the whaling feet, bas the largest ander Norwegian registry, with a deed weight of 22,000 tons. The second floating factory, the Skyt. teren, is of 16,300 tons,
The Kosmos is expected to take on fuel oil at a Venezuelan port as she heads toward the Antarctic for the first time. In outline she re- sembles. & light battleship more than A whaler. The imposing dimensions of the Kosmos have never been approached in the in- dustry.
