Referee: Lieut. Seal, M.C., R.A. St. Joseph's forced a corner in the first minute of the game and Jackson sent in a fast shot which Chan Shek Pui stopped on the line and was lucky to clear. The Somersets opened strongly but there was very little between the teams. Estall was a good substitute in the Police goal, but was beaten by Palmer just before the interval. The Somersets opened the second half with Ecored from close range giving. Estall no chance. The Police then took up the running and by good work on the left, Dr. Valentine went in to beat Hall and giving the Police their first goal. Before the final whistle sounded, Baker scored again for the Somersets.
