KWONG YING STOPPED

AT SHAMSHUI,

Captain Sinclair of the Wachow steamer Kwong Ying which arrived yesterday reports that shots were fired across her bows on nearing Shamshui at night and that she was obliged to turn back.

She entered the port the next morning without troubles The vez.. sel was searched and the master reports having seen 13 Cantonese gunboats at anchor of KaskweRE: near Shamshui.
