The angles of these smaller bays are slightly sharper than those of the wider ones, but the sense of pro curves is still preserved by the vision of an arch over the windows. lighting the staircases and lifts.

Moscow (F.):-American fo spiration was stressed as one of the Aost important factors, in the am bitious Soviet plan for a series of gigantic bread factories," in a conference with foreign correspon denis held in Moscow by Alexander D. yeteley, a member of the Board of the Grain Trust which is direct ing the project. It is expected that by the end of 1832 these factories" huge grain farms, the smallest of them covering 73,000 acres-will "net" the Soviet government 100,000,000 poods of marketable grain, thereby solving its most argent economic problem.

The inspiration is on the one hand abstract-the success of im- neuse farms in the United States encouraged the Russians in Jorm- ulating their scheme. The Camp bell Farms" are mentioned especial- ly in this connection, as well as large-scale agricultural under takings in Canada. But, on the other it is concrete: Americans will actually participate in the organization of the bread fac tories," in training agricultural experts to direct the enterprises and in providing the technical equip:

M. Myeteley declared that ten American professors have already accepted invitations to come to Russia to teach the latest farming technique in a model factory. now in the process of organization in Northern Caucasus.

Other. Countries to Help. A number of the leading manu facturers of tractors and other farming machinery in the United States and Great Britain bare arranged for groups of Russian technical students to visit their factories for practical training in the use and repair of the latest machinery. In addition, M: Mystelev indicated that a number of success- ful farmers have agreed to come to the Soviet Union' and help in the initial work of organization.

Some German firms, likewise, have agreed to co-operate in the grain-growing project.

The whole undertaking is spread over a year period, the first year being already concluded. There are now 10 Soviet economies," (Sorkhors). By the end of next year there will be 46 and at the conclusion of the 5-year period, in

The appearance of the block of fats should be quite good when it is finished. It will stand "50ft. back from the roadway, which is already, 200ft wide. The whole block will be 100ft. long, and the site is only 70it. deep.
