Thirteen arrivals and eighteen.de partures were shown for the 24 hours ended at 9 am. yesterday, of which seven arrivals and five de partures were British Cargo dis charged for this port was low, but through freights showed a very good tota!. British contributions were very good, especially the through freights, there being only one for eign carrier.

J "A Wooden Derelict, The master of the s., Sokndal reports to the Harbour Department that a wooden derelict junk, with its mast apparently disasted and scarcely afloat, was sighted in Lat 2015 N., and Lang. 115° 5' E, as 7.40, G.M.T. on January 2nd, 1929. The master considers the derelict dangerous to navigation.
Report From 8.8. Mantua. The P.&O. liner Mantea which arrived here from Yokohama and Shanghai reports a case of pulmon- ary tuberculosis.
