LOCAL IMPORTS FAIR.
HEAVY DECREASE IN „THROUGH FREIGHTS:
There were eleven arrivals” and thirteen departures during the hours eaded at 9 a.m. yesterday and local imports discharged for this port were about average. Through freights were only moderate and showed a heavy decrease from the high totals of the past few days. A now Italian arrival was shown as best carrier for through ports, and four arrivals and six depar tures were British ships.
Nice vessels discharged & 10,903 tons of general merchandise for this port to which two British ships contributed 1,451 tons. The two best, cargo returns were shown by the s.s. Shinai Maru with 4,538 tons of coal from Wakamatsu and Sakito and the ass.s. Wong Shek Kung (Chinese) from Saigon dis- charged 1,800 tons of rice.

HARBOUR COLLISION.
POLICE LAUNCH AND NAVAL VESSEL

__A report was made by Sergeant Went that he was on duty in No. 7 Police Launch and was proceeding through, the Naval Anchorage when a naval launch, with a torpedo launch in tow crossed their bows and was struck amidships by the police launch. The extent of the damage was not reported but it was stated that the naval, launch blew two blasts and at the same „time swung around to starboard causing the launch in tow to be struck amid- ships.
