The week end baseball games were not particularly spectacular. Yesterday's Game.
The Sacramento outfit batted first in their game against the South China Dragons yesterday and open ed the score with a dandy home run by Kennif, who "bingled over to shert, McGovern contributed an- ather run in this frame. Out of six inen going into bat, two made their way home, three filed leaving Marlowe dend at second "base.
T. Chinn started the batting for the Chinese and reached first on a pitched bl}. He was, however, at second. D. Chinn put out singled and was advanced to third; when W. Sling got pegged at first 5. L. Lee flied to short, and thus ended the first inning without a run being scored.
The American sailors bagged an- other run in the second stunza through Lindemuth, and the Chinese were again sent to the field without drawing blood.
The third frame ended in the score remaining the same for the sailors, but the Chinese managed to break their duck through Choy coming home. He was walki ed and H. Sling advanced him to third and got home when T. Chinn was nailed at first.
U
The sailors were held down on the fourth and fifth frames, but in the sixth, they began their rapid firing. Musselwhite flied. Hag- wodd got in a safe hit and landed at first. Danielson advanced him and when Lindemuth gave a three base bit, Hagwood and Danielson came hoine. Neary brought Linde muth home and Lanza brought Neary "home before he was caught Keaniff then very nearly duplicated his home run in the first inning and got a triple. Me

This stanza was a merry-go-round and no fewer than seven runs were. garnered, one of which was a bome run by Marlowe.
The Chinese were prevented from scoring and had to leave the field- with the run they got in the third. June took a turn as a pitcher and did not do so badly. Although he only struck out two men, his deliveries were so soft that several of the sailors fell into the trap and hit out only to get flied..
Hagwood the Sacramento pitcher was rather off colour in the first four innings. He managed, how- ever, to strike out five men and walked one on pitched ball.
