Saturday's Statement. Fourteen arivals and nineteen departures were recorded for the period ending at 9 a.m. on Satur day morning and the local buportsdireus, June 9th. thowed a good figure of over 20,000 tons. Through cargoes were below British ships carried heavy cargoes and figured amongst the best carriers. Fourteen vessels had cargo for Hong Kong which totalled 20.26 tons. Six British vessels contributed 11,631 tons and the two best carriers were British ships. Both vessels discharged car goes of coat from Kevlung. The 8.1. Wing Hong had 3,700 tons while the s.s. Apocy discharged 2,700 tons. Through freights carried by six vessels only amounted to 1,748 tons and three British ships earried 2,972. The 3,3. President Hayes showed the best return with 3,200 tons of general cargo from San Francisco and Shanghai, while the 3.5. Su Sang (British) had 1,553 tons from Singapore.
