THE LEAGUE, POSITIONS.
A coincidence in the Home foosball league results of Saturday was that in Division 11., and Divisions III. (Southern and Northeru) the same uniber of goala was scored. In the Southern and Northern Sections home and away teams totailed the same number. The number of gous netted in. Division I was 24 and in the viner Divisions 42.

Home teams won the greater number of matches. Scoring was fairly heavy in places, especially in the Scottish League:
In Division I. two teams obtained Eve goal cach, and in Division II. there was a do victory, and a.so one of G1, by an away team. In Division II (Southern) Milwali scored. 1-1 and Luton -1, while in the Northern Section three teams netted äve times euch, and in the Scottish League there were two teams with five goals each, one team who won by 62 and one which got away with a b-1 victory.
There have not been many material changes in the English League. In Division 1. the leaders are the same. Leicester, who beat Birminghat, go above Blackburn, who drew with Sunderland. The Vila drop. further down. being beaten-by Cardiff City. A few of the bottom bracket clubs have improved their position, but those at the very bottom äre in practically the same position as before... In Division II. the leaders are still the same, and there are one. or two minor changes at the top. Bristol City have improved their position. Bottom clubs are about the same.
The leaders remain unchanged also in Division III. (Southern), but Plymouth Argyle have gone up to third" and are now four paints behind the leaders. They are one match better off then Millwall, who are second. There have been one or two interesting. changes in the bottom bracket.
In Division III (Northern) there is not much change, and the Scottish League alio does not show much difference in order.

On the first day the Trial Plate Stakes have been incrensed to $730, 8300 and $130, while the Jockey Club Stakes have been pat up to 81,000, $300 and 8200. There are 11 races as against
ten at the last meeting. The Foochow Cup has been moved up to the third day and The Governor's Cup has been put in its place. There is an extra race for sub griffips.
"On the second day there is also an extra race for sub-griffin* and the Hong Kong Derby Stakes have been put up from $2,000 to 83,000,
There is another extra race for sub "griffins on the third day and the added, money to The Champion Stakes has been increased to 83,000, $1,000 and 8000.
On the last day the Tytam Handicap has been divided into three clames instead of being confined to one as was the case last year. The added money for the Sub Griffins Champions is now $1,000, $500 and 8300. There is an extra race for non winning griffins and the mafoor race has been dropped. Entries close on the 14th January.
