There was again a fairly heavy list of arrivals for the twenty-four hours ended at 9 am yesterday, although they were three short of those of the previous day.

Local imports, however, were much below those of the previous day, totalling only 8,843 tons, com pared with 13,841 tons for the pre- "vious period.
