HONGKONG BOY'S SUCCESS IN-U.S.A.
MASTER DANENBERG'S DEBUT
IN LOS ANGELES.
HIGH PRAISE FROM MUSICAL CRITICS.
Master E. C. Danenberg, the nine year old son of Prof. Emil Danenberg, who is well-known in Hong Kong, made his debut as s pianist at the Beaux Arts Audi- torium, Los Angeles, on February 25th.
His skill excited the admiration of the musical critics. One sroto that his facility was wonderful, and his familiarity with the keyboard uncanny. The difficulty of the con- positions and the excellent style in which they were rendered made it impossible, with closed eyes, to be lieve that only a child sat at the
piano.
The Pacific Coast Musician in a
long critique of the performance
said:-

However, it was carried through with flying colours Master Danenberg, to be sure, cannot accomplish the mus cular achievements of an adult; he would be a freak of nature if he could, instead of a healthy, normal Ho lad of unusually fine talent. shows a strong but not exaggerated
