N.Y.K. NEW YORK SERVICE.
| ADDITION. OF TWO MOTOR SHIPS.
The NY. K. Far East-New York Line was inaugurated ten years ago, and in view of its growing importance to shippers and merchants, the Company. has decided to add two motor ships. Atajo Haru, and Asuka Maru, each of 10,000 tons D.W., in addition to the steamers already engaged on this route, which latter, being now equipped with, oil burners, can maintain higher speed than before. Thus the trip by N.Y.K. boats from Hongkong to New York vid Panama Canal is shortened and will be covered within fifty-five days.
