AN EXPLANATION.

The CHAIRMAN explained that this was the second meeting of the new Club. The rules governing it were roughly the same rules as those of the Hongkong Football Club. The officers of the Club "would be A President, Vice-Presidents, Chairman, Captain, Hoo-Secretary and Hon Treasurer.. The President and Vice- Presidents would be co-opted by the Committee and would not be subject to retirement at the annual meeting of the Club in each year.

"The management of the affairs-of-tha; Club would be vested in a General Com- mittee tonsisting of the officers and such other members, not exceeding five, to be elected annually.
