According to present plans the liner is to be placed on the trans-Atlantic rum after being re-engined and re-fitted, but this has not been definitely settled, al- though it is most likely. It is quite pos sille that she will re-appear in Hong- kong in a year or two's time as a round- the-world Tourist liner.

It had been determined some months ngo that the traha-should-sail to England to be re-engined by Fairfields of Glasgow, but the recent engine troubles experienced have hastened her departure. It will be remembered that the liner developed trouble in one of ber turbines after leaving Hongkong on June 11th, temporary repairs being effected at Wonsung and further repairs at Naga saki. The run to Vancouver was can- celled, and the liner's passengers were transferred.
