The match between the Chinese Recrea tion and the Indian Recreation Clubs, produced the keen and close struggle_ex- pected, and in the presence of a large number of supporters from both Clubs." the CRC gained the supremacy by a narrow margin of five games.

For the Chinese, Yew Man Tsun and Ho Ka Lau were the heroes scoring 1 games in the three sets by very careful play. Ng Sze Kwong was in good form, but was lot down very often by his bro- ther. The Lo brothers failed to make good' their reputation and secured the least games on their side.

The Indian lads played pluckily and had it not been for a bad start might have won the match. H. D. Rumjahn.. and Y. A. Wahab were in splendid form and played particularly well against the
