The lawn bowls senson was successfully opened on Saturday. There were six games played in the League, three in each Division..

This game was also played at Taikos and the home side won by fourteen shots.. On Me Kechnie's rink a wonderful re- covery was made by the home team, for at the thirteenth head they were down D-17. From this stage, however, they never looked back and scored 21 in six In the First Division all the home heads including two fives: teams won; while in the Second Division Taikoo R.C. two of the three home teams lost.
