HONGKONG TENNIS LEAGUE. SEVERAL CLOSE MATCHES.

FULL RESULTS.

The M.B. K.-University: fixture in the "A" Division proved to be the most thrilling of the series of league matches during the week-end." It ended in a win for the University by the narrowest possible margin of one game.

Honda who has gone to Canton for a few days, was a notable absentee from the M.B.K. side. He will, however, bo back in time for the final of the Singles Cham- pionship of the Colony next Friday.

Other close matches were won by Kow- loon CO. by 3 games, University by 5 games, L.R.C. by games, all in the "B" division and by Club de Recreio by games in the division

MW. Lo took a rest after his strenuous match last Friday, but except ing his absence the Chinese' fielded their strongest team against Hongkong C.O. and won by a comfortably margin.

Broome and Smith secured only 8 games against the I.R.C. and this accounted in large measure for the defeat of the

division. U.S.R.C. in the "B
