These teams met in the semi-final of the Junior shield at Sookunpoo, the East Surresa winning by three clear goals.
The first half was well contested, ench side having their share of the attack and both goals having narrow escapes. Half- time, zo score.
In the second half the R.A. defence showed signs of weakening while the Surreys attacks was good. Within ten micutes of resuming, the Surreys were two goals up, Stairs and Robinson Le ing responsible for them. The Surreya made the game safe five minutes from time, Phillips sending into the net following a mix up in the Artillery goal
