Christians The persecution of Russia continues The Russian bishop at Berlin has received news that the Metropolitan, Peter of Moscow, at pres ent the highest dignitary of the Orthodox Church in Russis, and twelve. bishops have been arrested by the Bolsheviks.
The charge against them is that they refused to recognise the sect called the Living. Church, which while retaining an outward form of orthodoxy teaches modernised heresy. The sect has been encouraged by the Bolsheviks as a meana of weakening the Orthodox Church by division.
