COMMENT. ON THE PLAY JUDAS I The selection Committee's task, was not made easier by the exhibition of the players in this match. Rodger had more to do than Clarke in the respective goals The shots that beat Clarke were good ancs, the first being a clever one well worked by Gosano. The second goal was a trap close in, following a well placed corner kick. The backs defended well and used good judgment. The halves on both sides worked hard, McGreavy, BLOW ing to advantage against a light wing Sims and Stewart, on their respective sides, worked hard and broke up severd attempts at combination. The Colours had the advantage forward with three of the East Surrey players in the attack with Gosano as the pivot. Howard play ed a good game in the open but was wild at shooting Humberstone made coveral good attempts to get through, but, co- ceived little support from his inside man, Taylor and Charlesworth did well as right winger for their respective sides, A für ther trial has been fixed for Wednesday next on the H.K.F.C. ground.
